Worlds of Tomorrow
Faithful fans of science fiction will no doubt rejoice that we haven’t forgotten to prepare a selection of the best new short films of this genre. The presented colourful mosaic of films will offer enjoyment for the lovers of frenzied action scenes and spectacular special effects as well as for those who prefer more low-key, atmospheric and contemplative pieces. You can for example look forward to a gloomy cyberpunk film about a fly and a biomechanic computer, a South Korean sci-fi about the journey of a young girl and her faithful robot through the ruins of a brutal dystopic world, or an absurd Canadian comedy set in the near future that presents a fitting commentary on the indifference of the wealthy Western society to the plight of the helpless victims of climatic changes.
