Magali Magistry

Magali Magistry studied Art and Philosophy but finally embraced the world of films captived by Charles Bronson’s harmonica, Holly Hunter’s piano and Swayze’s hip-thrust. She worked extensively in film development before directing and producing experimental movies. Her awarded fiction shorts CINDERELA (Brazil, 2011) and VIKINGAR (Iceland, 2013 • César & Edda nominee) have screened at festivals around the world, including Cannes and Sundance. Magali has just completed her new project, EXPIRE, a Sci-Fi short film, winner of the Audi Talents Awards.
