Ward's Henna Party
Halima is a Sudanese henna painter living in Egypt. She goes to one of Giza’s local areas to prepare a bride for her wedding. Her seven-year-old daughter Ward accompanies her and starts to wander around and discover the place.

Morad Mostafa
Morad Mostafa is an Egyptian director born in Cairo. He studied film directing at Cinema Palace in 2008 and at other filmmaking workshops. He has worked in the filmmaking industry since 2010 as an assistant director for several Egyptian directors. His first short film, Ward’s Henna Party (2019) had its world premiere at Clermont-Ferrand 2020.
