From Sea to Sea

Canada is a land rich in culture, spreading from sea to sea across two linguistic territories. It has given the world filmmakers such as James Cameron, David Cronenberg, Jean-Marc Vallée, Xavier Dolan, and Denis Villeneuve. The last of these directors is represented at this year’s festival through his famous short film Next Floor, which we are showing alongside a selection of seven other films by the youngest generation of Canadian filmmakers who have spent the past 13 years winning over the hearts of audiences and festival juries alike.
