Shorts 2

Every year, Pragueshorts holds special screenings for students in grades 1 to 9. Our colorful selection of playful and serious live-action, animated, and documentary films touches on family, relationships in general, and other areas that kids encounter in their daily lives.

Can rivals on a wrestling team become friends? What would it look like if, in order to save the planet, we only had access to a limited amount of energy? And what film represented the Czech Republic last year at the world’s most famous film festival in Cannes?

The answers to these and other questions can be found in the block of short films that the Pragueshorts Film Festival has put together for children in grades 6 to 9. Our colorful selection of playful and serious live-action, animated, and documentary films touches on family, relationships in general, and other areas that kids encounter in their daily lives. The films, which cover a wide range of countries and genres, feature live dubbing and discussions with the festival’s programming director.
