International Competition 3: Crossing the Line

Sometimes is just happens that, while looking for a lost donkey, you cross an international border without even noticing. And while you’re goofing around on your roller skates, you inconspicuously slip into a different age category. Or you set out for the horizon, in search of lands created primarily from great expectations. Nothing is more natural than to sometimes cross a line, to move beyond your life so far or past the audience’s habits – consciously as well as by chance. It is healthy and sometimes even necessary. It can be a step that changes everything forever. Or it can be just an interesting little trip, the best part of which is to return home and to use what you learned to skate some sweet lines.

This year’s international competition features 25 films from 22 countries, and the jury will present one of them the award for Best Film, which comes with a 2,000-euro financial reward, as well as two Honorable Mentions.
