Nefta Football Club
In the south of Tunisia, two football fan brothers bump into a donkey lost in the middle of the desert on the border to Algeria. Strangely, the animal is wearing headphones and is carrying bags full of a white powder on its back. The brothers decide to bring the bags back to their village.

Yves Piat
Yves Piat is a French director and screenwriter. His first film, Tempus Fugit, was screened at festivals around the world. Nefta Football Club is his third short film. Shot in Tunisia, the film won a series of audience awards, including at Clermont-Ferrand and at the Florida Film Festival, and won Best Comedy at Aspen Shortsfest. It has been shortlisted for the 2020 Oscar.
