Melon Grab

An uncertain future dawns upon two young best friends as one of them is moving away from their coastal hometown. The catalyst of their parting is the splitting up of Corey’s parents. Their way of dealing with it is skateboarding as the descending sun marks a new point in their lives.

Andrew Lee

Andrew Lee is a queer Australian-born Korean director, writer, producer, and production designer. He has designed, art-directed, and set-decorated short films that have screened at the Berlin, Venice, Sundance, Tribeca, and Clermont-Ferrand film festivals. Andrew was a recipient of the Hot Shorts funding round for his short film Melon Grab (2016), which was nominated for Best Short Film and Best Director at the 2017 Dendy Awards – Sydney International Film Festival.
