Figurant
A man follows a group of workers coming for day work in an industrial area. Soon, he is stripped of his clothes and identity, dressed in a military uniform, and handed a weapon. His determination not to fall behind the others is then tested by a series of unsettling events.

Jan Vejnar
Jan Vejnar was born and grew up in Prague. While studying at the Miroslav Ondříček Film Academy in Písek, he directed the short films Automatic for the People (2010) and Video Therapy (2011). His Godzilla ad for the Aero Cinema won the 2014 Golden Nutcracker Award. Besides working on his own film projects, he is also involved in radio production, debuting with the original comic radio play A Meeting of the Garage Cooperative (2015). Figurant (2019) is his live-action debut.
