Sam Taylor-Wood
Sam Taylor-Wood was born in London in 1967. Originally a sculptor, she began working in photography, film, and video in the early 1990s. In her work, she explores intersections between video, dance, theater, music, and film. Love You More (2008) is her first narrative film. Her directorial feature film debut came in 2009 with Nowhere Boy, a film based on the childhood experiences of the Beatles' singer/songwriter John Lennon. She is one of a group of artists known as the Young British Artists.
