It’s the beginning of February and the temperatures are way below zero in East Norway. Former national champion in Combined Skiing, Roland (65), has been living with his Swedish coach, Bertil (79), at an isolated and remote farmhouse for many years. The last winter of their relationship is upon them.

Henrik Martin Dahlsbakken
Henrik Martin Dahlsbakken (b. 1989) grew up in Hamar, and has studied media science in Norway and the UK. He is a self-taught filmmaker and trained cinema projectionist. Dahlsbakken has made several short films using 8mm, S16mm, 35mm and 65mm film techniques. His greatest success thus far has been the short film The Devil’s Ballroom (2012), which won awards at multiple festivals around the world. Dahlsbakken's first feature film, Returning Home (Å vende tilbake), was shortlisted as the Norwegian Oscar candidate for best foreign language film. Two of his feature projects were completed in Autumn 2016.
