In a typical South London kebab shop Nathan tells Beefy a story. It's a story he's heard about the Ellington kid, who got stabbed and found refuge in the very kebab shop they are sitting in. The gang who stabbed the kid ended up following him into the shop to finish him off, but they didn't account for the kebab shop workers...

Dan Sully

Dan Sully was born in Nottingham, schooled in Buckinghamshire and Georgia, USA, went to college in Bristol (while living in Wales) before heading to Bournemouth University and then finally settling in London. Dan studied Film and TV at Bournemouth University and made his first music video at 21 years old. One project led to another and by 25 years old Dan was signed to Flynn Productions as a music video director. Within a year he was nominated in the Best New Director category at the UK Music Video Awards and went on to make music videos for Elbow, The Maccabees, Beach House, Kaiser Chiefs, Will Young, Athlete, Keane, Miles Kane, and Devlin amongst many others. In 2012, after years of honing his craft in music videos and commercials Dan finally made his first short film. The Ellington Kid was selected to play at the 56th BFI London Film Festival.
