Billie Pleffer
Billie Pleffer (b. 1985, Australia) began her career studying photography at the college of fine arts UNSW. Always interested in narrative, Billie’s photos were constructed images, capturing a story within one frame. Billie attended the Victorian College of the Arts completing a postgraduate degree in film in 2011. BINO is her second short film which premiered at the Berlin International Film Festival, winning two awards, Best film by the international jury and Special mention by the children’s jury. Billie is currently in pre-production on her next film.
