Adrian Sitaru
Adrian Sitaru (b. 1971) is a producer, writer and director. His first short film Waves (Valuri, 2007), won the Golden Leopard at the Locarno Film Festival and the Best Short Film Award at the Sarajevo, Namur, Dresden and Aspen film festivals, and other 22 awards. The film was also screened in the 2008 Sundance official competition. His first feature, Hooked (Pescuit sportiv), premiered at the Venice Days section of the 2008 Venice International Film Festival. His latest short film, The Cage (Colivia), won the DAAD Short Film Award in Berlin and is part of the (third) feature film Domestic. He is currently editing his second feature film, From Love With Best Intentions.
