Rúnar Rúnarsson
Rúnar Eyjólfur Rúnarsson (1977, Iceland) studies film at The National Film School of Denmark. He is the co-founder of Óháðakvikmyndagerði, an Icelandic organization promoting cooperation between film events and independent filmmakers. His short films Síðasti bærinn (The Last Farm, 2004), Smáfuglar (2 Birds, 2008) and the medium length Anna (2009) have been screened at many festivals including Cannes and received a number of awards including a nomination for best short film from both the European and American Film Academy.
