National Competition 1: In the Imagination

Fantasy, memories, anticipation, and dreams can make our lives richer and more interesting. But even the slightest lack of attention or exaggeration can complicate it like few other things. And if we really go overboard with the imagination, it can literally be a matter of life and death.

This year’s competition of short domestic films features nine works made in 2019 with a running time of 30 minutes or less. The international jury will present one award for Best Film, which comes with a 2,000-euro financial reward, plus one Honorable Mention. Viewers can vote for the Audiences Award in this category during the festival at Mall.tv.
