BAFTA 70
Only a few weeks from now, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts will for the 70th time select the best British and international films of the past year. From the very beginning, the BAFTA awards were considered to be a counterpart to the American Oscars. After all, the awarding country has one of the richest and most interesting cinema, which has been proven in time. And so the awards have kept their credit more than well.
In 1980, the best short film award was added. Because of the jubilee, and also due to the extraordinary list of winners and nominees, we would like to commemorate at least some of the films and directors that made it into the elite society of those whose work was awarded the Best British Short Live Action Film.
