Flytopia

During a sweltering summer heat wave, Jonathan enters into a pact with the insect inhabitants of his rural cottage. He receives an array of services in exchange for surrendering a room in his house to the insects.

Karni Arieli, Saul Freed

Karni Arieli studied art and photography at Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Jerusalem. Saul Freed studied art and music and is a self-taught cg artist. They have been working together since 2005, creating over 30 music videos commercials and short films. In 2010 Karni and Saul showcased their short film Turning, which then went onto feature at more than 20 festivals worldwide winning three, and was nominated for a BAFTA in 2011. Their new short film Flytopia (2012) is based on a dark fantastical Will Self’s story with original score by Adrian Utley from Portishead. Karni and Saul were Selected for Berlinale Talent Campus 2013.
