Sixteen-year-old Vendula arrives to a half-forgotten holiday resort where nothing ever happens. Only a bunch of local teenagers sit around and drink to kill time before the local pool fills up.

Jakub Šmíd

Jakub Šmíd (1984) graduated in theater acting from JAMU. In 2006, he joined the cast of Gosse on a String Theater in Brno, where he stayed until 2008. He currently studies film direction at FAMU and makes short films, music videos and documentaries focusing of culture. He also works as theater actor and director. Non-swimmers is his graduation film.
