Hanne Ramsdal, Cecile Semec

Hanne Ramsdal (1974, Norway) holds a master’s degree in literature. She writes screenplays, short stories and articles and has published short prose in several anthologies and periodic publications, making her debut as a novelist in 2006. She made her debut as a filmmaker co-directing Hangman with Cecilie Semec in 2007.

Cecile Semec Mikkelson (1973, Norway) graduated in cinematography from the Norwegian Film School in 2004. Her work focuses on short films, commercials and music videos. Hangman is also her directorial debut.
