Sara Eliassen

Sara Eliassen (1977) studied literature at the University of Oslo, holds a bachelor’s degree in project management from The Kaospilot University in Denmark, and an MFA in filmmaking from the San Francisco Art Institute. She has directed several music videos for Norwegian bands and in collaboration with Lilja Ingolfsdottir directed a series of anti-ads that infiltrated commercial channels throughout Norway in 2007. Her short film Still Birds (2009) premiered at the Venice Film Festival and was screened at several other international film festivals including Sundance and the CFC Worldwide Short Film Festival.
