The Shoes of Aristeu
The body of a dead transvestite is prepared for the wake by his transvestite friends. After receiving the body, the family decides to burry him as a man. A procession of transvestites heads to the wake to say goodbye. The shoes are put on. Death is nothing but a window.

René Guerra
Luiz René Guerra (1975, Brazil) is a film and theater director. In 2006, he was invited to the Talent Campus of the Berlin festival. The Shoes of Aristeu, winner of several awards at international film festivals, is his fifth short film and the first shot on 35mm film.
