Mt. Human

A doctor working in a Czech regional hospital has just turned forty and she feels that this is her last chance to move forward in her life. However, her ambitions at making it in nearby Germany face opposition from her new colleagues at the small hospital where she begins working – and most importantly, from her family.

Jan Hecht

Jan Hecht, born in Prague, is studying film directing at FAMU. He is currently working on developing his graduation film, which is planned to be an international co-production. The film describes a tragic story based on true events that happened to two little boys in 2010 in one small Czech town. Mt. Human (2019) is his first short.
