A sunny day in mid-August. Adam, an editor at a Prague cultural magazine and an occasional writer, has a free day but doesn’t know what do with it. Ondřej, on the other hand, has too much to do and is worried about his mother. A story about friendship, women, men, and one bottle of very old slivovitz.

Anna Kopecká
Anna Kopecká was born in Prague and studied film and sociology. She began working in programming and production at film festivals when she was 18, and is also a film journalist and artist. She is the artistic director of the Cork International Film Festival in Ireland. After working on the production of Jakub Felcman’s experimental film Kino Effenberger (2016), she decided to found her production company Girl and Gun. Her first live-action film was 2019’s Sometimes It Is Just a River.
