Jerome Sable
Jerome Sable is a writer, director, and composer of film, television, and commercials. He grew up in Montreal, Québec, where he studied piano and music theory at the McGill Conservatory of Music. He has a B.A. in philosophy from Brown University and an MFA in directing from the USC School of Cinematic Arts. His horror musical short film, The Legend of Beaver Dam (2010), opened the Midnight Madness section of TIFF and went on to screen at over 75 film festivals worldwide, winning 17 awards, including Best Short Film at Sitges and honorable mention at Sundance. Currently, Jerome is in development of his second feature film, Confinement, a psychological horror story set in early 19th-century America, as well as Shaketown, a half-hour animated comedy TV series with Blumhouse and NBC Universal.
