Alone in the wild, two boys play around a surface mine. Complicity evolves into a confrontation where one wants to have power over the other. When one suddenly gets caught in the quicksand, the debate ends. Taking proportions larger than nature, this game will not prove as innocent as they thought.

Jeremy Comte

Jeremy Comte is a film director based in Québec, Canada. He directed his first short documentary, Feel The Hill – which was inspired by his passion for skateboarding – at age eighteen. His feature film Fauve was premiered at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival, where it received a Special Jury Award. The film also landed him an Oscar nomination. Jeremy is keen on raw, psychological narratives that find meaningful connections through poetic imagery.
