A Room with a Coconut View
An automated computer voice, Kanya, leads her foreign guest, Alex, through a beach town in eastern Thailand called Bangsaen. Since Kanya's presentation is overtly aestheticized and strictly regimented, Alex decides to explore the town by himself, fantasizing to get out of the frame.

Tulapop Saenjaroen
Tulapop Saenjaroen (Thailand, 1986) is an artist/filmmaker whose works encompass performance, video/film, and public projects. He holds an MFA from the Slade School of Art, University College London, and an MA in aesthetics and politics from the California Institute of the Arts. His works have been shown at exhibitions and screenings internationally including the Locarno Film Festival, the Oberhausen International Short Film Festival, the Vancouver International Film Festival, and the Singapore International Film Festival, and he has won awards from the Internationale Kurzfilmtage Winterthur, the Arkipel Festival Jakarta, and the Moscow International Experimental Film Festival, among others.
