Perkele
A long time ago, Perkele was the god of thunder. Even though gods are no longer worshiped in Finland, “perkele” is still part of the Finnish language – as a very powerful curse. A short film about Fins, or better yet, about Finnish men.

Arto Tuohimaa
Arto Tuohimaa (b. 1976, Helsinki) studied film and media design at Helsinki Polytechnic. Perkele (2004) is his second short film.
