The Affected

Minutes before takeoff, a situation occurs that prevents the plane from departing. In an attempt at preventing the deportation of one of the passengers, another refuses to sit down – forcing the pilot to take a political stand.

Rikke Gregersen

Rikke Gregersen was born in Norway. In her films, she works with a combination of humor and tragedy while exploring human behavior and relations. Her graduation film Dog Eat Dog (2018) won the Special Jury Prize at the BAFTA student film awards and went on to win a student Academy Award. Her second short, The Affected (2020), won Best Nordic Short at Nordisk Panorama, was nominated for the Norwegian Short Film Festival’s Amanda Award, and screened at the 2021 Sundance Film Festival. She is currently working on developing her first feature film and a new television series.
