The Handyman

Alone at her country estate, Evelyn attempts to end her life but is interrupted by the arrival of an awkward but endearing handyman. Evelyn’s desire to make him leave clashes with his need for a job and Evelyn discovers the handyman has problems of his own.

Nicholas Clifford

Nicholas Clifford is a graduate of the directing program at the Australian Film, Television & Radio School in Sydney. He is the writer and director of the AWG Monte Miller award-winning screenplay The Handyman (2020) and of the StoryPros Grand Prix award-winning feature film screenplay Bella & The Bear (2017). In 2013, Nicholas wrote and directed the Tropfest Winning short film adaptation We’ve All Been There (2013). He is also the writer and director of the Tropfest finalist and award-winning short film Kitchen Sink Drama (2012). Nicholas is a founding partner of the Melbourne-based production company Truce Films.
