Red Light

In a god forsaken town somewhere in Bulgaria, a bus stops at a red light at the only crossroads at sight. Minutes pass and there is no sign of green. But the bus driver refuses to go while the red light is on. No matter that the traffic light is obviously malfunctioning.

Toma Waszarow

Toma Waszarow (1977, Bulgaria) has Polish roots. He studied film directing and was selected to participate in the Talent Campus during Berlinale and Sarajevo film festivals. In 2005 he made a minute-long film The Kiss, which has over 13.5 million views on YouTube. In 2015 and 2016 he won the Bulgarian Film Academy Award for Best Feature Film Editing.
