Father

Viktor doesn’t accept the health condition of his father, who suffers from an advanced phase of Alzheimer’s. Despite all pressure and complication he refuses to place his father into a medical facility and in his attempts to avoid that, he does things that are on the borderline between strength and weakness. Self-sacrifice mixes with selfishness, mainly in those moments when Viktor protect his father from the reality when his beloved wife is no longer alive and everything has changed. He is trying to keep his father in a bubble, as that is the only was to catch the sporadic glimpses of a man he once knew and admired. Those precious moments are shaded by the bad and horrible ones, those that corrode the already complicated yest stull substantial relationship. Will Viktor and his father find at least a partial redemption? The only way forward is through shared pain... When do we lose someone, really? When they died? When they leave us? Or when they no longer are who we remember them to be? Dad is trying to find answers for all these questions.
