La Isla

A family gathering on a beautiful peaceful island filled with memories. Everybody is waiting for Jamie, who should have been there long ago. Is he just late or is something wrong? The questions are preying in the minds of the whole family and their expectations turn into anxiety. The film was awarded Tiger Shorts Award at the last Rotterdam film festival.

Dominga Sotomayor, Katarzyna Klimkiewicz

Dominga Sotomayor is a Tiger Award winner from the Rotterdamu film festival – she won the award for her feature film De Jueves a Domingo. She graduated in 2007 in Chile and since then made many short films. 

Katarzyna Klimkiewicz graduated from film school in Lodż, Poland, and since then she has been participating on many projects of the Polish television. Her documentary Wasserslacht - The Great Border Battle gow an award at Berlinale. Her feature project Flying Blind got an award at the Edinburgh festival.
