Don Hertzfeldt, 39, is an independent filmmaker, animator and writer born in the United States. His previous films won numberless awards all over the world. His animated short film Rejected was nominated for an Oscar in 2001 and his other film, It´s Such a Beautiful Day was voted the 16th in “100 Best Animated Movies Ever Made“ by the Time Out New York magazine in 2014.
