Jakub Kouřil

Jakub Kouřil (1987) graduated from the Faculty of Multimedia Communication at the Tomas Bata University in Zlin with major in Animation and Audiovison. After six months of internship at the prestigious ENSAD (École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs) in Paris, where he also focused on animation, he went on to the Film and TV School of Performing Arts in Prague, getting a master’s in animation. M.O. (2012) is his fourth short film. Another picture of his, Little Costeau (Malý Costeau, 2012) was awarded the Magnesia Award at the annual Czech Lion film award ceremony.
