Czecho-slovak qeer sensation Mušnula has conquered the Internet, art galleries and stages with their personal refresh of a 1980s hit of a famous singer Marika Gombitová and now they want to get to the silver screen!

Jakub Šmíd
Jakub Šmíd graduated from the Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Brno, department of theatre acting. For two years he was a member of the legendary alternative scene Husa na provázku (Goose on a String Theatre) in Brno. Then he continued to study directing at the Film Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. With the tutoring of his professor, the director Věra Chytilová, he made a short film Non-swimmers (Neplavci) which was selected by L'Academie des César as one the seven best short films of 2011 and got the Czech Lion Magnesia Award for the best student film of 2011. He has made three videos for Mušnula: Skúška prvých šiat (Trying on a Beautiful Dress), Muž nula (Man Zero) and Keď svitá pod srdcom žien (Fruitful Expectations).
