David Michôd

David Michôd (b. 1972) is a director, screenwriter and producer. Apart from his own projects he wrote screenplays for the short films of his friends from Blue-Tongue Films (for example Spider, I Love Sarah Jane or Bear) and for the feature film Hesher (dir. Spencer Susser, 2010). His short film Crossbow (2007) premiered in the competition section at the International Film Festival in Venice and the following project Netherland Dwarf (2008) at the Berlin festival. In 2010 he made his full feature debut Animal Kingdom that was awarded, among other, by the Jury Prize at the Sundance festival. He is currently finishing a new film.
