Nathan Lewis

Nathan Lewis made his first video at the age of seven. After pursuing a career in commercial film and video, he graduated from the Sydney Film School in 2008, going on to work on several short film projects and video clips of his own. Attach Boat to Motor is his first government-funded short film, and represents many aspects of his own experience. He won the Insight 51 International Film Festival in 2004 and 2006, was chosen as part of the Destination Film Festival curated by Megan Spencer in 2008, and received the audience choice, best cinematography and best sound design prizes for his film Life Wasn’t Meant to be Easy at the 2009 Sydney 24 hour Film Festival. He is committed to telling stories through non-traditional narrative structures and unique visual representation. He is currently working on a short screenplay set in the Flinders Ranges of Australia, Two Punks.
