Atom Egoyan
Atom Egoyan (1960, Egypt) is of Armenia descent and grew up in Canada. He studied international relations and guitar at the University of Toronto before moving on to theater and short film. His award-winning films include Family Viewing (1987), Speaking Parts (1989), The Adjuster (1991), Exotica (1994), the Oscar nominated film and winner of FIPRESCI and Grand Prix from Cannes The Sweet Hereafter (1997), Felicia’s Journey (1999), Ararat (2002), Where the Truth Lies (2005) or Chloe (2009).
