Robert Zemeckis

Robert Zemeckis (1952, USA) studied film at the University of Southern California, where he made his first successful film, A Field of Honor (1973), that brought him a student Oscar and the attention of Steven Spielberg, the future producer of his films. His films, Romancing the Stone (1984), Back to the Future (1985), Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988) or Forrest Gump (1994), made him one of the most successful directors and won many awards, including another Oscar.
