Martina Amati

Martina Amati (b. 1969, Italy) studied theatre set design at Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan. She has worked for MTV Europe and directed TV documentaries. Her first short film, A' Mare (2008), premiered at Sundance and won several awards at international film festivals. Her second short film, I Do Air, won a BAFTA for Best Short Film. She is currently working on her next short film, Chalk, and developing her first feature.
