The ocean is a paradise for Fran the shrimp. Her deadly claws take whatever they desire. For the blind fish Milva, it’s a daily struggle to survive. Fran sees her as beautiful and wants her to see the ocean in the same way. Can they overcome their differences?

Bára Anna Stejskalová
Bára Anna Stejskalová is a director, screenwriter, and visual artist specializing in puppet animation. She studied at Arts University Bournemouth and at FAMU in Prague. Her short films Fishermen (2017) and Love Is Just a Death Away (2020) were both shortlisted for the BAFTA Awards. The latter was also nominated for two Czech Lions, premiered at SXSW, and has been screened at more than ninety international festivals. In 2021, she co-founded the Prague-based animation studio Divize.
