Phil Sheerin
Phil Sheerin is a multi-award-winning filmmaker from Dublin whose films have screened at many international festivals. Before coming to England to study at NFTS, he worked in The Factory alongside Kirsten and Jim Sheridan and John Carney, to name but a few. His first-year film at NFTS, North (2014), was nominated for a student Academy Award and was screened at BAFTA as part of the new talent showcase. In 2020 he directed his first feature, the mystery drama The Winter Lake.
