Luca Tóth
Luca Tóth is an award-winning animation director and illustrator from Hungary, where she studied animation at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design in Budapest. After receiving her BA, she studied for her master’s degree at the Royal College of Art in London. Her graduation film, The Age of Curious (2013), won the Jury Distinction award at the Annecy International Animated Film Festival. In 2016, she made her first independent animated short Superbia, which premiered at Critics’ Week in Cannes and was selected for more than eighty international festivals. Her second independent short film, Mr. Mare, debuted at the Berlinale in 2019.
