Rachel Maclean

Edinburgh-born Rachel Maclean works in a variety of media, including video, digital print, sculpture, and VR. She has shown her work in the UK and internationally, and has received critical acclaim in the spheres of film and visual art. Her major exhibitions include solo shows at, among other places, the National Gallery and Tate Britain in London and Arsenal Contemporary in New York. Her most recent video work, Duck, uses deepfake visuals and audio. It had its world premiere in January 2024 at the Rotterdam International Film Festival, where Maclean was one of the artists selected for the Focus Programme.
