Francisco Lezama

Francisco Lezama is an Argentine film director and screenwriter with a decade of experience in short films. His latest work, An Odd Turn, won the Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival and is now an Oscar contender. Part of a thematic trilogy, the two previous films Frankenstein’s Bride (2015) and Dear Renzo (2016) have been screened at major festivals such as Locarno, NYFF, AFI Fest, BAMcinemaFest, Vila do Conde, and VIENNALE, and have been featured on streaming platforms such as MUBI, HBO, Le Cinema Club, and Nowness.
