After a sleepless New Year’s Eve, Jindra and his daughter Bára search for her missing dog. The frustrating situation reignites unresolved conflicts. Bára blames Jindra not only for the loss of the dog but also for his recent divorce from her mother. Cluelessly wandering through deserted fields, Jindra struggles to prove he is not useless.

Piotr Jasiński
Piotr Jasiński is a Warsaw-based Polish film director currently finishing his MA degree in directing at FAMU in Prague. His works focus on communication, family relationships, and overlooked taboo topics. Jasiński’s short films have been featured and won awards at major film festivals. His works have also been shortlisted for the Czech Film and Television Academy’s Magnesia Award for Best Student Film. He was a member of the jury at the 2023 Warsaw Film Festival.
