A department security guard spends his days observing others, including a young bookstore clerk with whom he is secretly in love. He watches her on the security system monitors and looks for ways to connect with her on the commuter train. Then one evening she arrives to the train station with another guy...

Reto Caffi
Reto Caffi (1971, Switzerland) graduated in English literature and journalism from Fibourg University and has worked for several years afterwards as a film critic for magazines, radio and TV before moving to TV screenwriting. He finished his PhD. at the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne in 2007. His five short films have won over 30 awards. His last film On the Line won this year’s student Oscar.
