Franzis Kabisch
Franzis Kabisch is a filmmaker, artistic researcher, and writer based in Berlin and Vienna. She is a PhD candidate at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna and a guest researcher at the Film University Babelsberg. In her art and research, she focuses on depictions of abortion in film and television, on body politics, and on reproductive justice. She has received numerous awards for her work, including the Golden Dove at DOK Leipzig, the Cathrin Pichler Prize, and a DOC Fellowship from the Austrian Academy of Sciences.
