Luce and the Rock
One day, out of nowhere, a giant rock is found lying in the middle of the peaceful little village where Luce lives. The villagers can’t even open the door to their houses anymore! Luce is angry: go away, Rock, you don’t belong here! And why are you here anyway?

Britt Raes
Britt Raes was born in Belgium and lives in Ghent. She teaches animation at the KASK School of Arts, from which she graduated herself in 2011. Since finishing school, she’s been finding her way in illustration and animation, doing both her own independent projects and commissioned work. In 2016, she finished her first professional short film, Catherine, which traveled the world to over 200 festivals, winning prizes along the way. In 2022 she finished Luce and the Rock, which she will also adapt as a children’s book.
